Brazos Bend State Park
We will meet at St. Michael at 10am on Friday, March 14th, and then travel in chaperone vehicles to Brazos Bend State Park. We will camp in the Youth Camping Area in tents overnight, returning to St. Michael on Saturday evening around 6pm.
Activities include fishing, hiking, geocaching, s'mores, campfire, and a short lesson in the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi. We will also visit the Nature Center and hopefully get to touch a real live baby alligator!
All ages are welcome to attend!! Youth in grades 6-12 may attend without a parent. Younger children MUST have a parent attend. All adults must have current "Safe Haven" training and cleared background check.
All camping equipment and meals are provided, except bedding. Everyone must bring their own bedding!
